Diskin Cider

Diskin Cider opened in May of 2018 and has become known for producing top-notch, creative ciders. We take pride in creating dangerously good craft cider in an environment where we work hard and take the time to celebrate our successes.

We are looking for an individual to join our award-winning cidery team and continue our tradition of crafting delicious, approachable hard cider in Nashville, TN. This person will be making cider, managing our cellar and production team, and will oversee all production. This individual must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, be an efficient communicator and team builder.

Responsibilities include:

· Production planning, forecasting & execution

· Fermentation, including overseeing fully outfitted on-site lab

· New product development

· Management of all production, utilizing cidery management software (Ekos knowledge is a plus)

· Maintaining all production, safety, inventory, and lab records

· Ensuring quality control and consistency with award-winning existing recipes

· Managing and organizing production staff

· Preventative equipment maintenance, including minor repairs/adjustments

· Overseeing CIP, fermentation, carbonation and packaging of all ciders

· Managing cellar and warehouse inventory

· Maintaining a safe working environment

· Working as part of executive management team, creating new and innovative ways to grow the brand and the experience

Required Qualifications:

· 21 years or older

· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

· Able to work in a standing position for several hours

· Able to bend, kneel, and stoop occasionally

· Able to carry up to 50 lbs

· Able to maneuver up to 165 lb kegs and containers

· Able to move heavier items using tools such as a hand truck, pallet jack, or a forklift, in a safe manner

· Able to safely and responsibly handle abrasive chemicals
